The Weltwärts program is an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Co Operation And Economic Development (BMZ) which supports exchange of volunteers with many parts of the world. ICDE INDIA has partnered with ICJA for the Weltwaerts program since its inception in 2007.
Weltwärts program believes in commitment to development, global learning, and equitable interactions.

Weltwaerts promotes young people from Germany between the ages of 18 and 28 who are interested in volunteering for several months (typically a year) in a nation in Asia, Africa, Latin America, Oceania. One of the main goals of both parts is to encourage global learning, involvement in development issues, and worldwide solidarity.
