In order to succeed, we must first believe that we can. Four decades of having journeyed & conducted the ICYE Program in India is by far a reasonable time to celebrate the core values of the federation of ICYEs and promoting Peace, Inter Cultural Learning, Non formal education and Global citizenship, through International voluntary services.

 

I take this opportunity to thank the International Board of Managers during different periods, the International Office and all National Committees around the world in our federation. Further, I also thank and appreciate the support of my fellow Board members and the staff. Thank you for having ICYE / ICDE India as full member of the federation and the only member from India.

I am extremely proud to present our own Multi Activity Project & campsite at Kolar District that was inaugurated on the 29th May 2023, unveiling two important milestones:

 

1. ICYE / ICDE India moves from just being a National Committee facilitating promotion of volunteerism to, a project / work place and a campsite involved in the development of Education, Environment, Animal Care & Children.

 

2. The International volunteers participating with ICYE / ICDE India have a variety of voluntary services under one roof, to cater to the interests of all ages.

 

As a Registered Society under the KSR Act, ICYE / ICDE India has been recognised by all concerned governmental departments including the Ministry of Home Affairs with the issuance of the FCRA Certificate.

 

I am assured that our commitment to International Voluntary Services will provide opportunities to serve and develop communities, at large.
